For your reading pleasure....
Here are the subforums from the ft86 forum regarding the phantom supercharger and also DIY E-boost projects. In the Phantom original there are links that take you to the MX5 forums that dealt with the Phantom as well. Contact for Shiv as well if anyone needs help with the electronics. Robftss (the inventor of the Phantom is no longer active on the site (under that handle at least) No point in trying to contact him directly. Unless @AlexLTDLX wants to put up a big sign on the forum asking him to come see his work :D .

Hello yes the 86 group is the best. im actually apart of that group even though i dont have one.. I joined it for the E-turbo stuff.

The phantom got me Back into the idea cause they managed to get the whole concept working decently enough to be bothered with perusing it..
I consider the Phantom to be the "Original" E-Turbo because it was the first none fake one.

Unfortunately it was based on 24v and lead acid which was it's limiting factor.. Also it was "closed" which meant when the guy stopped making them then it completely died. This was an incredible loss for the "E-turbo" world....

As you have posted there is a great thread on people trying to recreate the phantom, which to my surprise all failed. I learnt alot from their failures and it is directly impacted my design.

Time wise i think then came the Troque amp many years later .. then Alexes one which is the first DIY one working .. props to him.

Phantom V3

Here is video TorqAmp V Phantom..(wont be v3)

I never even heard of the Phantom. Thanks for posting that video. I wish I could test mine that easily. 500 hp without boost is dangerous enough; and I live in a densely populated area.
