GOOD NEWS FOR THE WB E-TURBO

Yes I have a flash programmer! I dont personally tune the car but I made datalogs for my tunner! He take care of the rest! We don't have E85 here unfortunatly 🥺

We don't have E85 here either - it sucks. But my suggestion is to take it a bit easy until at least your tuner can look at things. I'd have him set things up for at least 180 kpa just to be safe. I assume the car feels faster? Congrats again.

How much was that thing? Probably cheaper than you could build it - and easier to program than the timers I'm using. I think a 555 was the first IC I ever bought - when I was like 10 or 12. Simplicity is better and not everything needs a micrcontroller.

That looks exactly like the billet impeller I'm using (obviously mine is bigger, but the machining is almost identical) - the difference is I paid about $600 for mine. Where did you get that from?

I look through a lot of seller on alibaba. Since the gt35 is the most replicated turbo on the market, they made a tons on billet impeller.
The sad story is the gt35 have 2 variant. I first wanted a 11-0 blades instead of 6-6. They have a lot of 11-0 blades but for the other variant. The only ones I found for my variant is the 6-6.
Anyway, even for a "mass produced" billet wheel, I know the work involve in this and I really dont know how they can lower the price that much. 21$ USD for this is incredible! 65$ is in CAD with shipping btw

Someone sent me a link to a company that makes alot of these wheels... unfortunately I don't remember where it was...

It is pretty amazing how cheaply they can do this stuff. I wonder what will happen if they attack Taiwan? When do you think you'll have your stuff back together?

We bought a lot of chinese product and it's scary!one day, something will break because I can't imagine a world where you can make and buy stuff super cheap and still be where we are... Anyway!

I will put my stuff back all together when I will receive my motor! It was out of stock and I don't know when it will be back in stock! Hope I will be able to put it back before the winter 🥲 time fly soooo much fast

True. Lol about the weather - for me, it's too hot to race or go to the dyno - it was 96* F today (~36* C); there's a window here in the fall and in the spring, then winter's too cold. The nice thing about Texas (where I bought land) - it's cooler in the summer than here, and all of winter, spring and fall are good weather for racing.

Hopefully you get your motor soon.

I talk to the castle creations team and the motor will be back in stock in the end of septembre 😰 thats way too far for me.. I will ask a refund and buy from an other seller who have it in stock!

I guess soon we will have all kinds of shortages (more!).

Me: waiting for the aliens now ... (maybe another more fatal zombie pandemic first?)

I'll hopefully be able to do some meaningful testing with the Castle motor and the P2 unit soon - I've already spun it up on low power and it's a lot better than the TP power motor, at least with the vesc. Dunno if it'll take as much power yet though.

I will take a step back and try to run this motor safely instead of max out like the other! I will take my time to look at the temperature and make a proper heat sink for it!

Hey guys I've start to make an other impeller shaft for the new set up. We discuss in the past of other techniques to make for example a 8mm extremely precise hole. I try the endmill on the tool older instead of a boring bar and it's awesome! 1° angle to work with only the tip of 1 tooth of the endmill.
Second thing, last time I've try to make all the shaft first, then the hole. But the hole have 0.0005" of offcenter. Making the hole first I will be able to be perfectly concentric.
