... if you really want to replicate the TorqAmp with its smart on board charging.
I think for a daily driver we need to find a good combo (motor consumption, battery capacity and charge rate limit, on board smart charging AND a high power charger which takes 220V AC (e.g. limited to 10 A to not...
I have requested a shipping quote for two of those (actually 3 ... to have swap spares):

... if the blower is too big for your engine displacement you might end up with too much (constant) blow off ... not good.
It really is important to check the specific compressor map and do some calculations/math for the expected duty window.
You want the blow off only for the "borderline...

I am curious about those:
2 in series would be nice, yes?

EDIT: NO!!! ... to make a 48V (or higher!) system which could deliver a few hundred amps continuously it would need a massive parallel setup which reallly gets...

wow ... interesting, really!
But somehow I got turned down when the "expert" Frank Germano started mixing up flow with boost and in the same sentence compression ratio with boost pressure here ...

not sure what 1.5" notch means ... in contrast to 15mm belt width (less than 1")...
yep ... and the procharger crowd.
Don't forget, all these kits come with custom tubing, partially more or less sophisticated intetcooling and recirc bypass or blow off valves.
AND a TUNE!
Here we are really diy ing our way forward ... we might save a bit, but when it comes to solving all the...
1. any SC or turbo other than the P2 would need some more trimming/machining to fix the emotor.
2. turbos : usually they require a LOT of rpms ... more than the emotors we are looking at can deliver!
3. The P2 is a Vortech V2 Si trim variant. Plenty "big"! many 5.0 to 5.7 V8 users develop...
and btw ... the mouth opening of the P-2 cup on top of the outputshaft allows only for so much belt angle ... so either a tensioner pulley is required ... or we live with a max diameter of the input cog to come 🤓
hah ... eureka: or we could use a "hollow" input cog/pulley with the cavity facing downwards and mounted "high up" the motor shaft.
The cavity would have a portruding motor shaft and space for a 2nd bearing and a elevated bearing seat... 🤓
measured diameter of the gilmer pulley: 28mm ==> ~88mm circumference.
it has 18 teeth/notches
pitch I would say would be circumference/notches : 88/18 = ~5mm
I was actually contemplating the idea to build a "base plate" to mount the motor on "spacers" and drive a pulley as well.
Challenge...
