Nevertheless ... I will dig a bit into the principle ... but from other sources!

... shows all the challenges he is fighting with, some of them do not apply when using it as a air pump ... but a lot of those do!

All in all: A Tesla Booster is an own topic which needs some own nerdy research ... I would say. I am not sure we can cover it here ... (but maybe inspiring some egg head now, because there are some attractive claims, which need to get verified).

I actually did do some research into Tesla's turbine - on his deathbed he even called it his greatest invention. And I agree - I think that at some point maybe we can figure out a new way to leverage that tech to our advantage. But since we're still at the very nascence of electric boost being possible and reasonable, I'm going to stick with off the shelf solutions on the compressor side. At least until something occurs to me in the shower (where I seem to do my best thinking). Lol.

i concur. telsa bladed turbines are not really good at moving air like a conventional turbine. at least where we are now with tech. i CAN see however smaller tesla turbines mounted to small DC motors for older houses that dont have water pumps for water pressure! what can i say... i'm an entrepreneur at heart!

it is a good read for sure. frank germano is still online but he doesnt have the resources to do anything with what he was doing. he's gotta be in his 60s now as well. i think he was ahead of his time and right at a point where the economy was going to crap after the dot com bubble burst and following 9/11. I do think now the way technology is there's lots of tesla tech to be revisited though. there are some great guys on youtube doing good work as well.
I really dove into tesla for like 2 years and read all his writings. He really was cut from a different cloth than the rest of us.
 
@everyone
One of the things that i had suggested to do with a tesla turbine was attach it to the exhaust to spin an alternator to help charge the batteries. Don't know how feasible it could be but i was trying to think outside of the proverbial box.
