Hello everyone, I'm SO very glad to finally be on here...as I tried joining months ago, but had email issues and some couldn't validate and post anything yet
. In all seriousness, I've been diving into the idea of possibly adding an electric supercharger to one or even ALL of my vehicles (2007 Pontiac Solstice, 2004 Honda Element, and 2012 Honda Ridgeline), as some of the benefits over traditional superchargers are HUGE to me...specifically the ease of install, as I'm an older single, physically disabled guy with pretty significant physical limitations. However, results I've found online are "hit or miss" at BEST and, when researching the option that seemed most effective (Torqamp), the price of their setups REALLY made me question all of it. Because of my disability, the TINY monthly benefits deposit I receive is NOT impressive and so WHATEVER I go with literally cannot cost 2 or 3 times MORE than I paid for the vehicle itself
. As someone who was an industrial maintenance technician AND had my master electricians license for YEARS before the accident that left me permanently disabled, I'm confident in my ability to do any install, modifications, tweaks, repairs, etc once I actually have some sort of "kit" in my possession (whether it's an actual kit or just multiple parts I've bought individually and called a "kit"
), as I'm VERY mechanically inclined, good with my hands, and haven't found anything yet I couldn't repair. SO, I'm looking for parts that won't hurt too badly financially AND produce results that are actually noticeable and make you feel as if your time wasn't wasted. PLEASE tell me there's a solution? Thanks in advance!
