High Power Fuse Question

I'm finally installing my new control box and LTO packs, and I want to actually fuse the high power lines (the load test fiasco and stick welding video highlighted how ridiculously dangerous this can be). I'm thinking of running two 600 amp/32 volt fuses in parallel. I know if a short happens and the fuses blow, there may be a plasma issue, but it should burn itself out quick enough. I have two of these:

The clear windows actually appear to be mica. I'm putting these in today - anyone have any thoughs?

I used these more than a few times in High power SPL system they have pulled few thousand amps at about 18 volts.

When they blow they melt down. The worst I have seen them do is melt the outer shell a bit, 80% of the time if you blow one of these ANL units they just melt and short out the middle elements. But they are hard to blow, really hard.

What about the plasma issue? No plasma under 20 volts, massive plasma at 70 volts. I know high current/high voltage fuses are filled with sand to extinguish the arc. But those are hard to find, rated for way too much voltage and expensive as hell.

I suppose something is better than nothing. On the bright side, they should drop only about .06 volts.
