Hi there. My name is Berti (Alberto), and I'm from Carmona, a town near Seville (Spain).
I own an old Nissan Almera (N15) 2.0L Diesel, 75 cv (aprox 74 hp) which lacks power specially when A/C is on and driving uphill, which makes the need of going in 4th gear.
I'd love to build my own electric turbo/supercharger. I think that what AlexLTDLX has built is too big for my needs and I'm looking for something smaller.
I see that there are few sucessful guys in the forum with that size of turbos, like WB projects and matnrach and GTHound is getting close.
This is not an easy project where you just buy some parts, assembly and that's it. I see it requires a lot of knoledge in different areas, such as electricity, electronic, machining, programming... I am an IT guy, so would probably need to outsource the machining.
Well, I'll let you know how it goes. I don't think I'll have anything before a year, since I'm busy with a building project.
See you around!
