e-Turbo/super assembly solutions.

Hi, I was wondering just what exactly is available for complete compressor/motor assemblies to experiment with?

It seems there are used MB electric superchargers available on eBay, (borg) and it sounds like Audi had an electric supercharger on a diesel? I noticed on the MB it's got two high-current pins for input, so I assume the inverter is built in?

What kind of flow rates (horsepower) can these support? They also seem like they're only 48v, and I'm considering a home build hybrid setup with a 96s battery so it would be great if someone made a 400v system.

Alternatively, I'm sure a 12-48v dcdc and a few 12v Lithiums could support it.

But at the end of the day, if it can't support more than 200hp, it's not really worth the effort. That's what my car has stock. And it makes even less sense if I can't utilize the 400v from the hybrid system. (Nissan leaf motor/inverter)

I was hoping some e-Turbo tech would have leaked into the aftermarket somewhere, considering F1 has been using them for a few years now. And a pic of a Magneti Marelli E turbo has been circling the net for years too.

Sounds like the C63 AMG e-Turbo is going to be ready promising though. It'll be a couple years though before scrapper take-offs will be available.

They are electric assist and I really dont know if they are able to run 100% electric for long time and if the motor is able to give all the compressor power by itself..
100% electric turbo on the market is only torqamp. Phantom and ARC superchargers have stop making it.
