Been looking to use a electric turbo but seen they are mostly DYI
My car has a GDI Theta II 2.4 NA engine.
Could you guys make a tutorial section?
Looking for a newer tutorial, hopefully I can learn what I need to install one.

I have a cold air intake, bigger bore throttle body then looking to toss in the electric boost and headers down the road

Would i need another ECU?
They have this for my car

Most likely would need a Alternator, I have a 15inch sub and redid all the door speakers.
I do have an extra car audio battery in the trunk hooked up

You could buy a Torqueamp Electric turbo off the shelf, though they are having problem filling orders i believe.
As for a tutorial i guess thats in progress.. Im intending on making everything freely available to those that want to simply copy me..

Like MSA above (typing his user name is a little time consuming, so I'm just going to refer to him as "MSA"), I've made all my development and research public. All this tech is very new. Heck, we really don't know which battery chemistry is best, and it's possible that may depend on usage - for example, in my case, I'm going for very high horsepower levels; beyond what you can use on the street. So what works for me might not work for you and may not work for MSA. Most folks on here are in fact shooting for lower power levels, which would actually fall somewhere between Torqamp and what I'm doing. Which means a compact LiPo pack, a decent ESC and a reasonable motor with a small-ish compressor. If you haven't gone through it, here's my electric turbo playlist - this is a good place to start:

The best place to start would be to pick your target HP level, watch the compressor map video in the playlist ("How To Size a Turbo or Supercharger") then see how I went about making and testing mine. Then hit up this forum and ask any any and all questions to you have. Myself and the other members here will do our best to help you out.

like alex said every one have a différent target. I will first look if you have the space to put an electric turbo. after, if you have the ability to make it or contact to help you! we can help you a lot here but locally if you have friend or something tath can help you with machining and the electronic. If you do, then, find your right compressor for you application with the compressor map video of alex.
