Wow the Maytech 85V 300A (400 with water cooling) VESC looks outstanding. I love the robust power connections and they have an on off module for positive Battery pole.
Funny you guys are talking about this. I was just having a conversation with the guys from Flier and Rafael from ebay about this.
That stated that Flier has made some improvement to the design of the 400a unit over the last few months. On being better and upgrade mosfet. Next they have 2 new...
Yes In have done the analog conversion with a cheap slightly modified servo tester. And it works well.
If there is another and easier way to do this please sir share.
Ok i really need to set down and read the rest of the manual of the APD ESC mine had not arrived yet. I was also looking at the MGM TMM 40063-3 for my other project car, a 1999 DSM Eclipse. Which will becoming my daily driver.
Cmoalem what ESC are using that allows for MAF?
The Troqamp video and and in the reading says they hard tap directly into the TPS signal or if on force induction car you can also us boost. I would imagine with being able to program the unit with Arduino it gives you more control of what the...
Ok question for all you smart and/or in the now guys. I have been thinking of a why to control the ESC with Throttle Position from the car.
Have more that few ideas, one idea was to use an e-bike thumb throttle control wire into an ESC servo tester and mount at the accelerator pedal and as the...
I have rule the out. They are LG batteries and found the same ones on Ebay he offered me they are from a Hyundai Ioniq EV car. I am just going with some LiFePo4 units for now to get it all up and running and once I watch you guys teat on the other units I can rebuild my packs. It looks like to...
Agreed and understand this.
Yep understand this very much. I have used unit with regulated and unregulated power supplies for year and delt with system with massive current drew in cars. And Wire loss do distance vs guage size.
Got it!! So 60V looks like a more realistic option for my setup...
This is going to be a bit long winded.
Ok let me the first to admit I got a bit caught up the the power race and over looked my goal and requirements and the most important aspect of my project car build. Nope it not the E-Changer but the High-End Sound Quality audio system to represent my...

I built high Audio system and been using high out alternators for a long time. Many many options out there. Even having a stock unit upgraded for more output.
Check out these options also. I used many of them with no issues.

Very interesting and your logic seems sound to me. And for what that charger does the price is not bad.
Next if look at Audi I would say they us a 48V system for a reason on their E-Charger as do Torq Amp.
Next there are such things as upgrade Alternators that produce more amps then stock if...
What you think about 2 A123 40V packs wired in parallel or even in series to hit that 80V range.
A123 Battery Specs:
Normal: 2.3ah 3.3V
Max: 3.5ah 4.2V
For the motor I am leaning to the TP5870 as I can't find a source the LMT 30100 state side.
So it looks like a solid set would the:
Blower: PCE157.1002 P2
Motor: LMT 30100 or (TP 5870)
ESC: ADP NV-Pro 20s/85V
Is there a source state side for the LMT30100?
Now for Battery, Charge (step-up) and BMS
I am at least a 48-60V battery setup. I can't go to larger of battery set as it will...
Now that is interesting. So 60V- plus maybe a better option or different motor? Lord I was about pull the trigger last night on the motor it still in my cart.
So P2 is good so guess go ahead and grab that.
Next the APD NV-Pro 16s do we the 300amp 400 max unit or would the NV-Pro 24s work at...
Pl
Please share sir as i am open to new units. LTO seems a bit hard to find. If there are other options please point in that direction. I can build and fabricate almost anything. Just want to make right choice the first time.
