Need some ideas how to switch the motor on via an ESC in the vehicle. I can make the motor spin with a servo tester and an arduino (using a pot) but can seem to get it to turn straight to maximum speed (simulating an ECU turning it on). What are my options?

Just had a look at WB projects and their last video shows an extension shaft which is exactly how I was planning on doing it. Although I have my own workshop I think I will get it made in my friend's machine shop. He can attain a far higher tolerance than I can as he has all the latest CNC machines.
