1) I ended up buying some lishen 18ah LTO's that turned out to be trash... I'm still hoping to get my money back .. But i wouldn't bet on it.
2) i bought a VESC 75/300 Because ALEX hasn't blown his up
3) I found some one DIY SCing his swift.. he says that at 7.4 PSI it...
To be honest im just so annoyed at my self for getting scammed. i have no idea why i bought them without going though the proper process.
Buy minimum quantity.
1) see if it turns up
2) see if it's fake
3) never buy in large quantities
I randomly bought a large quantity from a seller i had...
Personally i feel it's healthy to have for and against discussion on these things.
It's good to inform people on the pros and cons of various things.
Then the individual can make an informed decision.
For my self while i know the best option is to run a full BMS for my LTO's.. If i run an...
People can do what they want.. in this topic you can run oil or no oil...
I can't remember the bms discussion ..
But i think from memory you were charging through the BMS but not discharging through the BMS.. which means you have no protection for under voltage.
People can run with a BMS or...
As a X RC club champion i feel i can talk about their unique requirements.
In the RC world you wouldn't oil any bearings or gears (well in my day and off road vechcals )
For bearings if you oil them.
* That attracted dirt , which was worse that dry.
* They were harder to turn than without...
yes i know and so was my old cars super charger.. however in the post i replied to you seemed to spend most of the time poo pooing the idea of a oiled gear box.. despite there being many cases where they are oiled
And yet the Rotrex supercharger kit you can get for my car comes with gear oil and a oil cooler for it.
For sure it will work with or without oil.. the question is for how long... But in our case since we wont run the SC for very long so it probably doesn't matter to much..
One other thought...
Well what is your plan for attaching the the compressor wheel to the motor ? if you want to attach the wheel directly to the stock motor shaft then it will be very short if you dont do away with the stock end cap.
When i bought my 4070cm 2 years ago i asked them to make a longer shaft and they said they wouldn't .. they did say they would knock it through so it was as long as possible , which they did . so mine is 24mm long.. i think stock is 18mm
Yeah they do make a 2 pole scm version but i believe it...
Sorry I should be more clear.. I want to run the stock injectors so i can retain the stock ECU and pump , reg and so on..
Having to replace replace all of this would be to costly at this stage.
I therefore have no way to monitor AFR at this point.
So it seems i have to keep below 4.3 PSI...
Below suggests is can run 4.3PSI (30kpa) on the stock fueling any more and i'll need to upgrade.. which I could do but right now i want to get it legal and running.
My question is that 4.3 going to be the max i can run across the entire rev range OR can i run way more boost lower in the rev...
Did a quick boost comparison between my last data log when I had single ESC and now with twin e-turbo
Rpm. Single. Twin

Peak boost 4.2psi. @3200 7.1psi @3400
4k. 3.7psi. 5.9psi
5k. 3.2psi. 4.6psi
6k. 2.3psi. 3.4psi
7k. 1.3psi. 1.6psi
7.5k. 1.1psi. 1.3psi

Interestingly while it worked it eventually died i believe ... It kept on killing the bearings, which they should have tried ones with ceramic balls.. or the bearing failure could have been caused by to much flex in the shaft because of the steel used.
You know you could just copy two of the...
There was no video about how it was done.. and the guy didn't do it himself he paid a shop to replace the shaft with a longer one. He said they pressed it out and a new one in.
