Hello Everyone! I'm from Texas. If anyone has any questions, I have experience in the following areas:
Engines - Ive been wrenching on Chevy V8s my whole life (my last project was a Turbo LS Swapped Square body about 6 or 7 years ago)
Transmissions and torque converters (used to own/run a racing converter and transmission shop)
Electric Motors (Not much in the RC arena like here, but I've built my own FOC controller before)
Currently building a hot rod electric car from junkyard parts. Ive given up on my FOC software, as Ive sourced really decent open source FOC Software (with either hall sensors or sensor-less). Ive graduated to taking OEM Inverter Power stages and putting aftermarket brains on them (with the above FOC software). Next project is to build my own power stages again, probably with multiple brains running at the same time (on a large motor).
With the motivation of Alex, I'll probably put a E-Turbo on my square body and get rid of the turbo lag (not like there was a bunch before, but it sure can't hurt!)intere
I'm also interested in building a reverse supercharger of sorts.....using a big electric motor to drive the crankshaft, putting power directly to the crank (and using it like nitrous).
