Hi, name is Carl. I’ve been lurking for maybe 7 months and thought I’d finally let my presence known.
I am from Kenya, car enthusiast currently driving a BR9 Subaru Legacy hoping to switch to an RX8.

And because of the heat generated by the 13b I thought electric forced induction would be great since exhaust would be completely isolated and response would be sweet. Eventually I will get a P2 charger and figure out which motor, batteries, controller etc.

Hopefully I can also figure out an efficient power management and storage strategy to run full boost for like 30 mins. 🤷‍♀️

Thanks. Well based on other smarter people than me, sizing a turbo for a 13b is the equivalent of a 3.9l v6 that revs till 6000. 700whp is the goal.
Eventually I will swap in a 20b, because it’s actually cheaper on my end than building a 13b to handle the power.
 
Thats interesting! I've modified some rotary motor in the past (machine some part) and its impressive to size the small motor for a bigger one! I didn't know that!
