as the title says, took me a while and my 3rd different email to get registered. but I've been enjoying the projects you guys are doing.
I have a hybrid yukon that is basically just a ls2 engine with a bigger version of a prius pack, but 300v and I've converted it to Lifepo4 cells from the nmhi stock stuff. sadly the hybrid system has not been cracked to take advantage of the extra c rating of Lifepo4. but it's still cheaper and better, so went with it.
in theory it would be really cool to tap into that pack, and make say 3psi say 1500rpm to 3k,where this truck lives because of the style tranny and tuning keeps it in most efficient rpm at all times, it's effectively a cvt tranny without all the cvt nonsense that breaks, it has electric motors that spin plantarys and 4 normal clutch pack gears.
so since I have very limited tuning capabilities on these trucks. hp tuners sorta supports it, but not much. basically I have access to wot a/f target but not much else, not even timing. but it is a 87 octane truck, so 93, small boost and some added fuel might just make a world of difference when towing in the mountains and stuff, which I do about 2 times a year, about 2k mile trip.
I don't know that I have time to make any of this happen, but it's fun to think about trying and reading along as you guys sort it all out. the mounts you guys are building are very impressive work.
