Complex ... not complicated!

Hi everybody,

I thought, since we all are getting a bit more involved here, I introduce myself briefly:

I am a 54 year old Computer Scientist (nerdy, knowing how to use a soldering iron as well!), born in Austria, of Syrian origin, since 1981 (since 15 years old) German citizen and currently (since 2008) living in the UAE.

In 2012 I have swapped a LS1/4L60e into my modestly upgraded Jeep Wrangler TJ offroad juggy and learned some basic tuning topics with HPTuner. In 2015 I got my first big US big twin motorcycle (Indian Chief with the TS111 engine) and shortly after dug into Dynojet PVCX/PV3 (ECU flash tuner as well) and Dynojets PowerCore C3 tuning software. Wrote some smart python routines to automate adjustment of VE and timing tables from street run logs ... and tuned/dialed in my own upgradez and some friends bikes...

For my second desert sled (GM LFX 3.6 V6 powered Chevy Colorado cousin Trailblazer) I have been pondering the idea of some power add on and have been eye balling Mallett's SC kit for some time ... read about the TorqAmp at some point (and got disappointed due to the small displacement limitation)
One day not long ago I stumbled over Alex' YouTube channel ... and it clicked:

My next DIY project will be eBoosting my 3.6 Desert Sled!

So, yes, I speak and write computer code, German, English and Arabic fluently. I love bigger displacement (and it's resemblance) of US vehicles, the smell of rubber and fuel and the sound of healthy combustions!
And adrenaline ... and challenges ...

easy peasy ... uncomplicated 😎

Nice. Welcome! Your computer/software skills I'm sure will be invaluable here - I for one, can build things, but software isn't my strong suit. It sounds like you've already done a bunch of automotive-related software stuff as well. Thanks for joining and being active on here - you've already been a huge help. Thanks!
