Oohh okay! No worries! In fact, it’s my brother who code my arduino because I know apsolutly nothing and last time we try to make it work with the hobbywing, we had no luck. So I did use a RC receiver to do the test but I dont want this in the final set-up. The MGM work just fine with the code...
I really don’t know why my MGM failed twice but you can go see the datalog on previous post. Even them can’t give me a reason why the ESC failed. They even help me program it to ensure it goes well 😅
Btw @matnrach , I will do some test this winter before summer. We talk about the arduino code...
This is the last and final set-up. Probably 2x battery pack but this is it
Massive QS10 connector
Max4 ESC
10s Lipo
Castle creation 1721 2400kv
If this not work properly, I quit 😂
0.2mm is standard tolerances. I don't know how you send your drawing and tolerances to PCBWAY but **IF** you don't specify any tolerances, 0.2mm is verry standard. Even 0.4mm is standard. Only when specified that we go tighter. that is when a part start to be more expensive
how off is your part?
Like I said previously, you are limited by the motor rpm. I have a GT35 trim, based of garret they are good for 500hp but in the end, I only get 250hp out of it because of my motor rpm! Check the compressor map of your garret 12xx and check how much rpm they need to spool.. probably 100’***...
Super easy to understand! The basics you need a radio controlled car motor and ESC (electronic speed controller). You need batteries and something to activate the system.
Now for the motor, they advertise motor with « kv ». For example 1000kv is 1000rpm/v. so if you chose to go with 30v with...
My setup starting to get really small since the first day! I think it would be better to try something like mine vs the massive p2! I don’t know anything about motorcycles engines but I can help you with the rest of it
My brother makes a code with the arduino and It work one time but making weird noises after so we don’t know what happen.. anyway I really don’t know what could be the best solution. I would like something like the arduino but need to figure this out!
If you have any ideas let me know!
I’m...
the 3rd gear pull from 2k to 6k rpm took 3sec less from stock! It is in fact super impressive! I am pretty sur I could get couple more PSI! The voltage drop still pretty big but if I get ≈2k impeller rpm / volt, I am pretty sure with fully charge parallel battery, I could get clost to 10 psi!
Things were back on track but not for long 😭 I was almost done with the tuning! First pull on all RPM 2k to 6.5k! It was mooooving ! All were perfect! Even on the mgm log! But the ESC stop working exactly like last year 🤬
Mine is base on a gt35! I have a 2.0l motor and achieving at this moment 6-7 psi, maybe more to come. I have the same motor the 1721 2400kv. You may be good with your 48v lifepo4, just need so check the discharge rate and how much voltage drop you will get. I try LTO and LIFEPO4 but I finally go...
Just need a back plate to mount the motor with screws and a custom shaft to adapt the impeller to the motor!
I don’t know if it’s what you ask?
But first, you should see if your turbo with the possible RPM is big enough for your needs! Keep in mind that 80k rpm may be the fastest we can spin...
currently tunning the car!
6psi on the gauge boost but I think I have 7psi because de gauge is at -1 when the car’s not running. Almost 7.5kw on the motor, 60k RPM
Next thing is to change the battery connector. At the moment I have the stock ones and cable and connector heat a lot and have a...
