I did the same ish thing but I've start with the motor hole first to gain precision. But sade thing you will se in the video I mess something and I may not use shrink fit again 😂
Do you have a lathe ? I just receive my new motor and I will probably make a video of the shaft!
If you can use the original turbine shaft, go for it! But I run into issues trying to use it. So I've made an other one.. but I will say it's hard to do on the lathe for the precision of this size...
I should receive my castle motor in the end of the month! I'm super exited to see how a "real" motor will performe! Knowing my TP motor was not the one I bought but instead a motor way less powerfull..
Can't wait to try it 🤩
By the way I did a lot of research about how a motor can fail. In my...
Is verry impressive that you can achieve 1.5bar! What exactly is your motor?
I watch your short video for a long time now and honestly, I never beleive that you would be able to get that much boost in your motor. Check out my set up
I'm about 0.5 bar through all the RPM
Wow! It don't look like mine at all!
It's crazy if we think about it..
I'm pretty sure they send me a normal serie instead of a CM because of the kevlar wrap. You have the stainless sleeve!
So If I was able to achieve the results I had with the normal 4070. It means that all my data is wrong...
I'm curioust to see your motor rotor how's it's made? The CM version's supposed to have stainless sleeve! But mine had a kevlar wrap.. I'm pretty sure they send me a normal version of the motor. Sad enough, they don't respond me about it.
The next motor I will try is the castle 1721. It's the fastest/strongest motor I know of. I need it because I have direct drive set up and I need arround 70k rpm. This motor is rated at 90k rpm (no load).
I don't think it's possible to find a 120k rpm motor in load. If you really want to go to...
