Well, the tests with the new motor and repaired ESC is not that impressive at all. I can say poor results. Only 2 psi in the car before hitting the ESC cut-off. It makes no sense.. almost 9psi with the old set up and now almost nothing. I will contact castle creation if they can give me advices

Like you see in the video, on a Vblock or on the lathe there’s no differences. The run out is 0. If I had turn the chuck instead of the motor shaft when it was mount in the chuck, it would have been different.

I think the real deal of the 4070-cm should be enough. BUT I have better hope with the 1721 castle motor! They call it « the TP killer ». But like you said the 8s worries me too. I still have couple week till I try it but we will see!

I use a tp 4070 cm on my set up. Well I beleive till I disassemble it.. it was a 4070 normal motor and I was able to achieve 55k rpm on direct drive set up. But I changed for a castle creation motor

I am a experienced machiniste and just for fun, put you motor in the chuck and put an indicator on your shaft where the impeller goes. Dont turn the chuck, but turn your shaft by hand instead. The best I had is 0.002" of offcentric 19:30 in the video

I’ve made mine pretty similar and I have tried different thing and it is impossible to get a perfect concentrique shaft without a grinder.. a bearing is needed to support the shaft

OMG I am so mad right now.. remember when I said MGM received the esc? Well they don’t exactly received it. The post office try to deliver the package but wrong place wrong time to finaly ship the ESC back to me.. the sad story is Its been 5months since I ship them, hope it will not take 5months...
