From what I know of it and from what Alex has said it is rated at 300 amps but has 2 or 3 times that in mosfet capacity built in. But only time and testing will tell the truth of the matter. Can't wait to see all of Alex testing brings.

Alex the company is SMC Racing. Highly Regarded as Top 3 lipos on the market for both RC cars and RC Airplanes. Smaller company but very strict about the quality of his products.

Just for info on how I measure my C and resistance of my Lipos. My charger can measure resistance while charging. I also have an ESR Internal Resistance Meter Mark II that measures Resistance and True C rating. Both are within a few hundredths of each other so pretty damn accurate

My 9700 mah packs 4s all are 3.8 ohms or lower for all. I have 6 batteries. Most where .89 - .92 ohms per cell.

Hmmmmm ok i have lock nuts. But not sure i want the couplers moving around at all. Seems like it would cause unwanted vibrations, But understand your logic. But why wouldn't this work? It seem fine last night on a quick spin with one battery. However that battery wasn't completely charged.

I would have to say yes. Alignment of the motor shaft in relation to the blower shaft is critical. I made a Plexiglas template first for the mounting points of the motor. Used plexi so could have a better visual of the mounting of the motor.
